Mortgage Loan Officer

Principal Responsibilities

Develop market for home loan products in assigned geographic areas.  (Requires reliable transportation and includes limited travel.)

Develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies for home loans.

Utilize networks to generate leads of potential borrowers.

Identify potential candidates for home loans and assist them with becoming qualified borrowers.

Coordinate application, underwriting, approval and closing process.

Desirable Qualifications

Lending experience and knowledge of home loan products.

Experience with successfully marketing home loan products.

Sensitivity to the issues of low-to-moderate income borrowers.

Outgoing self-starter with the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.

Computer skills (Proficient with MS Word, Excel and mortgage origination software.)

Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, especially when communicating with individuals and groups about our home loan products and services.

Spanish language skills a plus.
