Bilingual Loan Workout Specialist

Principal Responsibilities:

 -Work intensely with homeowners (including Latino borrowers) to address financial hardships encouraging homeownership retention.

-Contact delinquent borrowers at the 30th and 60th day of delinquency to establish repayment plans as an alternative to foreclosure.

-Conduct extensive loan reviews with borrowers to discuss reasons for default and complete a financial analysis for homeownership affordability determination.

-Extensive communication with loan servicers to discuss delinquent loan histories and additional home retention strategies.

 -Commitment to assisting borrowers and finding alternatives to foreclosures

-Excellent people skills and ability to work with people of all levels

-Prior experience in mortgage loan servicing or community development finance -specifically related to delinquent loan management and foreclosure prevention

-Ability to make judgment calls and sound business decisions

-Good verbal and written communication skills

-Analytical and mathematical proficiency

-Negotiation and problem solving skills

-Proficiency in using MS Word and Excel

-Process oriented and attention to detail

-Ability to multitask and handle high volumes of work
